Rescheduled visit of Iranian President to Belarus likely to take place in 2025
The rescheduled official visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Belarus is expected to take place this year – as noted by Alireza Sanei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Belarus, in his talk with the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA reports
"The dates and period of the visit have not yet been determined, but we expect that it can take place in 2025," the diplomat said.
Earlier it was reported that Masoud Pezeshkian was supposed to attend the Eurasian Economic Union events in Minsk on June 26th-27th. The official visit of the President of Iran was also planned to coincide with the trip, but the difficult situation in the region and directly around Iran forced the plans to be changed.
