Second stage of multi-brand centre of Belarusian equipment in Kuzbass set to launch in 2025

This issue has been discussed during a face-to-face meeting in Moscow between Belarus’ Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Governor of Russia’s Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass Ilya Seredyuk. The flagship Belarusian project in the Russian region is a centre for the sales, servicing, repair and training of specialists in the full range of Belarus-made machinery.

Mr. Seredyuk emphasised the importance of maintaining close relations between the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass and Belarus, and highlighted the prospects for further development of the partnership. As Belarusian equipment operating in Siberia requires constant maintenance, a joint venture based on BELAZ JSC has been established in Kuzbass for this purpose.

“We are launching not just a service centre for machinery, but also a centre for the repair and advanced training of workers operating this equipment, including those working in quarries, municipalities, the automotive industry, and agriculture,” the Governor of the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass said.

The Ambassador of Belarus to Russian added that this project was created on behalf of the President of Belarus. It perfectly encapsulates the development of relations between Belarus and Kuzbass.

“Today, we already have a remotorisation site for mining dump trucks in the Russian region,” the diplomat specified. “This is a landmark project in which we will be represented not only by mining dump trucks, but also by a range of technology, including seed units, municipal and road construction equipment, combine harvesters, and virtually the entire range of our machine-building complex.”

Around 4,000 mining dump trucks made in Belarus are currently operating in Kuzbass. In fact, the coal pits of the Kemerovo Region are also becoming a testing ground for industrial innovations, according to the Governor of the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass.

“We tested Belarusian experimental equipment, including mining dump trucks — even a 400-tonne one — and machines with new engines and structural elements,” Mr. Seredyuk said. “We hope that we will also supply Kuzbass products to consumers in Belarus, and that this co-operation will grow and expand.”
