Lukashenko sent greetings to MILEX-2025 participants and guests
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 12th International Exhibition of Armaments and Military Equipment MILEX-2025, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
“In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, we are holding this representative forum for the glory of common heroes. The generation of victors bequeathed to us to cherish peace and freedom in our native land that were won at an unprecedentedly high price. In the name of this goal, we – the allied countries – are enhancing our defence capabilities and strengthening security co-operation. By developing the domestic military-industrial complex as one of the priority high-tech sectors of the economy, we are shaping the image of the state that confidently guards the national interests and sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus," the greeting reads.
“I am convinced that the international exhibition of weapons and military equipment will allow a wide range of specialists and experts to get acquainted with the most advanced achievements of Belarusian manufacturers and foreign partners. May the military and technical capabilities of the state help us jointly meet the challenges of the times, ensuring a secure future for our citizens," the President stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the participants and guests of MILEX-2025 fruitful work, high business activity and successful implementation of new co-operation projects for the peaceful development of states.
