International documents signed at Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Minsk

Following today’s expanded meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, an international document signing ceremony took place

In the presence of the heads of state, an agreement on economic partnership between the EAEU and its member states on the one hand and the United Arab Emirates on the other hand was signed in the Large Hall of Negotiations at the Palace of Independence.

An interim trade agreement was also signed between the EAEU and its member states on the one hand and Mongolia on the other hand.

The final documents of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting also included the protocol of amendments to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union as of May 29th, 2014 (4th Big Protocol); and the decision on amendments to the regulation on the council of heads of authorised bodies in the field of transport of the EAEU member states.

Four orders were also signed: on providing information in accordance with sub-article 5 of article 20 of the protocol on common principles and rules for regulating the activities of natural monopoly entities (annex No. 20 to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union as of May 29th, 2014); on results of monitoring the implementation of the provisions stipulated by the rules governing trade in services, institutions and activities by the EAEU member states in 2023-2024; on the implementation of liberalisation plans for certain sectors of services within the Eurasian Economic Union; and on the time and place of the next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

The heads of state also adopted decisions on the main directions of economic co-operation in the field of sports within the Eurasian Economic Union; on early termination of powers of a member of the EEC Board; and on appointment of a member of the EEC Board.
