FMs of Belarus, Oman noted in telephone conversation growing interest in expanding bilateral contacts

During the conversation, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of Belarusian-Omani cooperation, as well as the international and regional agenda.

Particular focus was given to the implementation of the agreements made during President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko’s recent visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The foreign ministers noted the positive developments in political dialogue and growing interest in expanding economic ties. They also confirmed their commitment to implementing joint projects in areas of mutual interest, particularly logistics, agriculture, and high technology.

They also confirmed their interest in strengthening co-operation within international organisations, particularly the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.
