First Deputy Head of President Administration on Belarus-US contacts: development of our planet depends on such dialogues

The conversation of real politicians determines how not only our continent, but the planet as a whole will develop – as stated by Vladimir Pertsov, the First Deputy Head of Belarus’ President Administration, on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel when commenting on the contacts between Belarus and the United States

Speaking about the contacts between Belarus and the United States, the meeting of Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko with US President’s Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg, Vladimir Pertsov noted, “The development of not only our continent but the planet as a whole depends on such dialogues, on the conversation of real politicians.”

The First Deputy Head of Belarus’ President Administration added that it is important to build a reasonable dialogue between all the players in order to avoid the global tragedy of nuclear war. “Nobody wants a nuclear war, nobody is striving for it. No one wants the end of our planet, including Trump. He, his friends, party colleagues, ordinary Americans and Europeans have children and grandchildren, and they all wish the future to our planet and their countries," he emphasised.

At the same time, Vladimir Pertsov drew attention to the fact that Americans speak with Belarusians as equals, “We do not grovel before them, we do not make empty promises. We also need to realise some of our interests. Meanwhile, Europeans are watching this very attentively and jealously.”
