Belarus’ President expressed gratitude to outstanding university lecturers, students
The President of Belarus expressed gratitude to lecturers and students of the country’s higher educational institutions, the corresponding executive order was signed by Aleksandr Lukashenko on June 16th, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
Seven lecturers have been awarded for their fruitful scientific and pedagogical work, significant personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, and the development of creative abilities of talented young people. These are Dmitry Voropayev, Associate Professor of the Chair of Theory and History of State and Law at the Academy of the Interior Ministry; Marina Gutovskaya, Head of the German Linguistics Chair at the Belarusian State University; Alla Kalina, Head of the Machine Science and Machine Parts Chair at the Belarusian National Technical University; Fiodor Nazarov, Associate Professor of the Chair of Animal Husbandry Technologies and Mechanisation and Agricultural Product Processing at the Belarusian State Agrarian Technical University; Natalya Semchenko, Head of the Architecture and Construction Chair at the Belarusian State University of Transport; Aleksandr Trofimuk, Head of the Fundamental Mathematics Chair at A.S. Pushkin Brest State University, and Irina Shchurok, Associate Professor of the Clinical Immunology and Allergology Chair with a course at the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Personnel at the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples' Friendship Medical University.
The President’s letters of commendation have also been sent to a group of students representing various Belarusian universities for their excellent academic achievements and active social work. The list of eighteen young people includes Aleksandr Abramchuk, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Electronics of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio-Electronics; Ratmir Grishchenko, a fifth-year student at the Faculty of Romanic Languages of the Minsk State Linguistic University; Alesya Listopad, a fifth-year cadet at the Faculty of Civil Aviation of the Belarusian State Aviation Academy; and Vitalina Soloshko, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Primary Education of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.
