Belarus’ national flavour presented at international festival of cultures in S. Korea
The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea participated in the Busan Global Gathering 2025 international festival held annually in the second largest city of South Korea, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry
The diplomatic mission treated guests to Belarusian homemade cakes and national honey drinks, and also presented the culture, history and tourist features of Belarus to Koreans – as is traditional. Colouring pages with images of national symbols and landscapes of the country were prepared for young visitors of the festival.
Organised annually by the Busan City Hall and the Busan Global Co-operation Foundation, the city's main multicultural event has welcomed more than 70 different organisations and public associations from 30+ countries in 2025.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Korea, Andrei Chernetsky, together with his wife, took part in the solemn ceremonies of the festival. During the conversation with the head of Busan, the diplomat thanked the organisers for the opportunity to take part in the country’s major cultural event and familiarise South Koreans with Belarusian culture.
