Belarus’ Ambassador, Kazakhstan’s Culture Minister discussed bilateral co-operation
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov has met with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva, sb.by reports with reference to Belarus’ Foreign Ministry
The parties discussed existing joint projects, as well as outlined new ways of cultural co-operation in the field of cinematography, theatrical exchanges and tours of creative teams.
Special attention was paid to the issues of holding the Days of Belarusian Culture in Kazakhstan in order to strengthen bilateral ties and create opportunities for a deeper acquaintance with Belarus’ rich cultural heritage.
At the same time, questions were raised about the participation of Kazakh delegations and groups in significant cultural events planned to take place in Belarus this year, including the Eurasian Economic Forum round table discussion, entitled the Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects, the 34th Slavianski Bazar in Vitebsk International Festival of Arts, the meeting of the EAEU Culture Ministers, and the 31st Minsk Listapad International Film Festival.
The two sides agreed to maintain and strengthen their co-operation within the framework of meetings of relevant departments’ working groups.
